Your Account, Your Responsibility

To use FlatRate Pro, you'll need to create an account. You can use your Google account or sign up with an email and password. You're responsible for keeping your login info safe. Please don't share your account or try to use someone else's - your work history is personal and valuable.

Playing Fair

We built this app to help you build and showcase your professional work history. We ask that you use it for its intended purpose—tracking your jobs, building your career record, and creating professional reports. Please don't try to hack, break, or misuse the app or its features. Let's keep it a positive and productive tool for everyone's career advancement.

The Paid Stuff: Professional Reports

The main work history tracking is free to use, but we offer a premium "Professional Report" perfect for job interviews, promotions, and career advancement. Here's how it works:

• One-Time Purchase: Each payment gets you one download of a Professional Report showcasing your complete work history.
• It's Yours to Keep: Once you download the PDF, it's yours forever. Perfect for job applications, performance reviews, or proving your experience. If you want to generate a new report with updated data later, you'll need to make a new purchase.
• Secure Payments: We use QuickBooks for payments, so your payment information is handled by them securely. We never see or store your credit card details.

Your Privacy Matters

We take your privacy seriously. Your work history data is valuable and personal. We've laid out exactly what data we collect and how we use it in our Privacy Policy. The short version is: we only collect what we need to make the app work and to help you with support. You can download your complete job history data as a CSV file anytime you want.

The "As Is" Clause

We're constantly working to make FlatRate Pro better, but we can't promise it will be perfect 100% of the time. The app is provided "as is." That means that while we'll do our best to fix any issues, we can't be held responsible if something goes wrong, especially with third-party services like Google or QuickBooks.

Limitation of Liability (The Legal Bit)

This is a fancy way of saying that we're not liable for any indirect damages, like lost profits or lost data, that might come from using the app. Our goal is to provide a tool that helps you, and our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Changes to These Terms

As the app grows and changes, we might need to update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll do our best to let you know. By continuing to use the app after the terms are updated, you're agreeing to the new terms.
